Contract Manager - Wind Turbine Procurement

An established renewable energy business is growing its wind project portfolio. Its project teams work closely with turbine manufacturers from supplier selection through construction and commissioning.

The Role & Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations of turbine supply and service agreements.
• Review supplier proposals and identify commercial and contractual risks.
• Manage relationships with turbine manufacturers and act as the contract contact for project teams.
• Advise on contractual obligations, delivery issues and changes during construction and commissioning.
• Work closely with procurement, legal and construction colleagues.

The Person

• Experience managing wind turbine supply contracts, whether with a developer or a turbine manufacturer.
• Direct involvement in negotiating agreements through to signature.
• Confidence interpreting technical and commercial terms and dealing with suppliers.
