Senior Trade Finance Manager - Hamburg, Germany

Our client, a leading player in the commodities sector, is seeking a Senior Trade Finance Manager to join our client's team in Hamburg. This is a permanent, senior position where you will leverage your strong banking network and in-depth expertise in commodity or energy trading to structure and manage complex trade finance solutions. You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders, helping our client optimise their trade flows and financing across products and geographies.

Key Skills and Experience

• Trade Finance Expertise - Proven experience across LCs, SBLCs, credit facilities and transaction financing, with the ability to design, negotiate and implement robust structures.
• Commodities / Energy Trading Knowledge - In-depth understanding of commodities products or energy trading, enabling you to align financing solutions with trading strategies and risk profiles.
• Strong Banking Network - Well-developed relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure competitive and flexible trade finance lines.
• Finance Leadership - Senior-level exposure, able to operate as a trusted finance partner to the business, driving strategic decisions and governance.
• Fluent German - Full professional fluency in German to manage local counterparties, banking partners and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborative Approach - Able to work closely with our client's team across trading, risk and operations, ensuring seamless end-to-end execution.
