Corporate Finance Associate – Financial Modelling & Investment Analysis

About the Role

We are looking for a Corporate Finance Associate to join our Berlin team and support the evaluation and development of a 700MW pipeline .

This is a hands-on role focused on financial modelling, due diligence and project economics. You will help assess investment opportunities, challenge key assumptions and establish the economic parameters that guide project and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models to assess project and investment economics.
• Conduct financial due diligence on projects, acquisitions and investment opportunities.
• Analyse returns, cash flows, costs, valuations and key financial assumptions.
• Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess risks and potential outcomes.
• Establish and challenge key economic boundaries and investment parameters .
• Work closely with commercial, technical and legal teams to assess project viability.
• Prepare clear financial analysis and recommendations for senior management.
• Support commercial negotiations by assessing the financial impact of different structures and assumptions.

About You

• 2–5 years’ experience in corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, project finance, infrastructure, energy or a similar field.
• Strong financial modelling and Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of corporate finance and investment analysis.
• Experience with due diligence and/or project economics.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Commercially minded, with the ability to challenge assumptions and identify key risks.
• Clear and confident communicator who can translate financial analysis into actionable recommendations.
• C1 German and C1 English minimum
