Corporate Lawyer

We are seeking a lawyer for a permanent position at LähiTapiola Keski-Suomi, Jyväskylä. As a lawyer you will be responsible for handling legal protection and liability claims for our individual, corporate and community clients, in a high-quality and smooth manner. Your duties include the comprehensive management of the tort and liability claim process—from taking control of the claims to the liability decision. You will provide legal support and expertise in damages compensation and interpretation of contract law, and participate in appeal proceedings. You will also act as a legal expert in other lines of indemnity operations and, at the same time, take care of the life security of owner-customers. We expect you to hold an upper-level law degree (OTM), have interest in damages and contract law, show independence and willingness to learn, be goal-oriented, responsible, proactive and enthusiastic, empathetic, customer-oriented, with excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to work in a fast-paced environment where tasks may vary daily. Prior insurance sector experience is beneficial but not required. We offer a great team ready to support you to succeed in your role, with the possibility of partial remote work. Salary is aligned with collective agreement and ranges from 3500–4000 €/month.
