Country Manager | 270K OTE + Equity | Logtech

Build a country, not just a team.

My client is a fast-growing B2B logistics-tech platform headquartered in the Netherlands, growing 200-300% a year. Germany already makes up over a fifth of their revenue and is cash-flow positive with a team of five. In January 2027 they open a Düsseldorf office, and they are looking for the person who will run Germany.

What the company does

Importing wholesalers shipping containers from Asia to Europe usually ask several freight forwarders for quotes, with no way of knowing whether the price is fair or the carrier reliable. Forwarders keep that hidden because the opacity is where their margin lives. This platform shows the layer underneath: sea carriers, ports, customs, trucking and rail, with real rates next to real performance data such as schedules, on-time rates and actual delays. Customers choose on price, reliability or speed, book, and manage the whole shipment in the software, with an operations team monitoring every shipment after booking.

What you'll own

• The German P&L: new customers, shipped volume, share of wallet in existing accounts, and customer satisfaction.
• The team: Account Executives, Account Managers and a Partnerships Manager, with BDR pods being built alongside. The plan is 2-3 German sales pods (two BDRs and one AE each) by January 2028. Operations joins your team during 2027, and you'll have a dotted line to the Head of Marketing.
• The deals that matter: coaching, joining and closing. You're in it.

What you bring

• You have led a sales team and carried the number yourself, not just advised on it.
• You use a real sales methodology: playbooks you've built or implemented, and a clear view of how a sales process should run.
• You have hired, ramped and coached a team from a standing start.
• You're analytical. You look at margin per container, share of wallet and pipeline coverage, and you know what to change.
• You still want to be in deals yourself.
• You speak fluent German and English.
• A background in logistics or logistics tech is a plus.

To be honest: this role isn't for someone who needs a finished playbook, a full support function and a quiet quarter. The product is still being adapted to the German market, and part of the job is finding what doesn't work and fixing it.
