Country Product Manager - Germany

As Country PM for Germany, you will own end-to-end product strategy and execution for the German market. You will align compliance, engineering, payroll ops, HR, and time tracking to translate local rules into a competitive product. You’ll manage critical trade-offs to ship quickly while maintaining regulatory safety and quality. This role sits at the heart of Deel’s Germany build, shaping the payroll engine on our internal infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale a platform that supports diverse worker types across 150+ countries.

• Define product strategy for Germany, including MVP scope and regulatory requirements
• Lead a dedicated engineering team to execute the plan
• Coordinate with Payroll Engine, Time, HRIS, and Services teams on dependencies and timing
• Manage certification with German authorities and translate decisions into compliance requirements
• Break problems into iterative, shippable pieces and prioritize what ships first
• Collaborate with sales, implementation, and compliance teams to validate customer needs
• Leverage AI to accelerate development and scale with local compliance teams

• Based in Germany
• Fluent German speaker
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and make decisions with incomplete information
