CQV Engineer

I’m supporting a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Germany that is strengthening its Commissioning, Qualification and Validation capability to support ongoing production and capital project activity.

We are looking for an experienced Senior CQV Engineer with a strong background in equipment and system validation within regulated manufacturing environments.

Role overview

You will support commissioning, qualification and validation activities across manufacturing operations, acting as a senior technical resource within the CQV function and supporting engineering, quality and project teams to ensure equipment and systems are delivered in a validated state.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting commissioning and SAT activities for manufacturing equipment
• Leading and executing IQ / OQ / PQ protocols
• Supporting process validation and equipment qualification
• Authoring, reviewing and approving validation documentation
• Providing guidance to engineering and validation teams on CQV best practices
• Supporting deviation management, change control and validation lifecycle activities
• Collaborating with engineering, QA, automation and operations teams
• Minimum 10 years of experience within CQV, qualification or validation roles
• Strong experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments
• Hands-on execution of IQ / OQ / PQ activities
• Experience working on complex equipment or system qualification
• Background in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device manufacturing
• Comfortable working in structured project environments with cross‑functional teams
