Credit Risk Analyst

In this role you assess SME credit risk to support supplier financing and currency trading offerings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate decisions. You will present analyses to the Credit Committee, contribute to automated risk modelling, and adapt processes for local markets. This position sits under the Regional Head of Credit Risk and offers growth within a fast-growing fintech environment. • Support and report to the Regional Head of Credit Risk
• Handle ad hoc requests from the Global Head of Credit Risk
• Perform detailed credit analysis of prospects and clients for financing and trading products
• Present and defend analysis at credit committee meetings
• Collaborate with front office and operations to ensure smooth client experience
• Manage an existing client portfolio and monitor credit standing and risk/ reward
• Proactively manage own pipeline of work
• Liaise with managers across geographies to provide insights and support process improvements

• University degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or similar
• Fluency in German and English
• Ability to read German management accounts (BWA, SuSa)
• Solid understanding of balance sheet, P&L and cash flow
• Background in SME credit underwriting or financial analysis, or ability to assess creditworthiness of entities
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Clear, concise communication style for explaining complex concepts
• Willingness to work in a demanding, results-oriented team
• Working knowledge of Excel; VBA/Macros desirable
