Crew Care Manager

Stellenbeschreibung:

Join LUMINAIR's Operations Control Center as Crew Care Manager in Hamburg. As our fleet expands, we need a detail‑oriented professional who can ensure our crew members are well‑supported, rested, and ready to deliver exceptional experiences to our passengers. This role goes beyond scheduling—it's about caring for the people who care for our guests.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Creating and managing crew rosters that balance operational needs with duty limitations and crew well‑being.
  • Overseeing crew travel arrangements, from hotel bookings to transport coordination.
  • Monitoring duty times and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations to keep our crews fresh and safe.
  • Serving as a trusted point of contact for crew members, supporting their welfare and addressing any scheduling concerns.
  • Collaborating closely with the Operations Control Center to keep daily flights running seamlessly.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone with a safety‑first mindset and a genuine care for people. You understand that behind every roster line is a person who needs proper rest, fair treatment, and clear communication.

  • Sharp organisational skills: juggle complex schedules, travel logistics, and crew needs without missing a detail.
  • Clear communication: express yourself professionally and warmly, whether speaking with crew members or coordinating with internal teams.
  • Team spirit: smooth operations come from collaboration, not silos.
  • Quick thinking: stay calm and make sound decisions when unexpected changes arise.
  • Resilience under pressure: move fast in the aviation world without losing your cool.
  • Flexibility: comfortable working shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Language skills: fluent in English (written and spoken) and professional working proficiency in German is a strong advantage.
  • (Bonus) Familiarity with aviation duty regulations and crew scheduling requirements.
  • (Bonus) Working knowledge of flight operations, fleet management, or aviation logistics.

What You’ll Need to Apply

  • Eligibility to obtain a valid ZÜP (Zuverlässigkeitsprüfung) security clearance as per §7 LuftSiG.
  • An unrestricted EU passport or the legal right to live and work in the EU.

Why LUMINAIR

  • Be part of the journey: your ideas will be heard and valued.
  • Room to grow: professional development through new responsibilities, training, and mentorship.
  • Performance‑based advancement: hard work and dedication are recognised and rewarded with clear promotion pathways.
  • Competitive compensation: fair salary plus holiday allowance that reflects your contribution.
  • Fantastic perks: airline staff travel benefits, hotel discounts, WELLPASS membership, and more.
  • An inspiring workplace: located in Hamburg’s iconic port, offering stunning water views and a great team atmosphere.

Our founding team built LUMINAIR with the belief that an open ear leads to success. We genuinely listen to feedback, embrace good ideas, and support your career journey every step of the way.

Apply today and help us care for the crew who care for our passengers.
