Job Description:

An opportunity to be on the frontline of healthcare innovation and to help facilitate the shipments and therapies aimed to save human life! This will change the face of medicine as we know it. In this role, the candidate will provide an enhanced level of customer support and operational support for movement of any cell and gene shipment through our Marken’s network and that of our parent company, UPS. Taking an active role in the ongoing development of operational ability in cell & gene therapy logistics, to ensure the highest levels of customer service, commerciality, quality & satisfaction. To effectively utilize the expertise within the Cell and Gene Therapy department The main purpose of the Operations Associate is to perform the day-to-day operational requirements of the work order Cryoshipper and durable packaging preparation

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Work according to internal guidelines
• Processing and Preparing packaging (shippers) for Cell & Gene shipments in accordance with company procedures.
• Generate and fill out of specific documentation associated with packaging
• Supporting Cell & Gene Operations with booking shipments into Marken Maestro
• Preparation of shipment export documentation where required
• Inventory stock control and compliance with Asset Panda
• Inspection of packaging and preventive maintenance activities according to internal procedures, including NER testing and arranging re-calibration of loggers.
• Support/Arrange the Placement of durable packaging (Controlled temperature shippers & LN2 Dry shippers), equipment (GPS tracking devices, Temperature monitors) and ensure that are according to Cell & Gene project specifications-COPs or SOPs.
• Support Cell & Gene Operations with return logistics for reusable packaging and or equipment
• Support Cell & Gene Operations retrieving temperature monitor / device data and uploading to Maestro system ensuring client’s requirements have been met
• Support Cell & Gene Lead with chain of custody and identity control through preparation and coordination of associated documentation or systems
• Ensure Marken’s Maestro system performance compliance with all necessary data entry and confirmation of key milestones (departure, arrival, customs clearance, etc.) for all Cell & Gene shipments
