Customer Solution Engineer (m/f/d)

Stellenbeschreibung:

About You

We’re looking for someone who is equally comfortable on the floor of a hatchery and in a meeting room. You can assess a customer’s setup, understand their technical constraints, and translate what you learn into clear requirements for our engineering team. You present with confidence, follow up with persistence, and always keep the bigger picture in mind. This role sits at the intersection of technology, product, and customer and it’s essential to how we scale.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first technical point of contact for customers, representing Omegga with professionalism and enthusiasm in meetings, workshops, demos, and industry events.
  • Visit customer sites (hatcheries), assess their infrastructure and incubator setups, and determine how our technology can be integrated.
  • Translate customer requirements into tailored technical solutions aligned with our product portfolio, and coordinate with the engineering team on necessary adaptations.
  • Shape how our product evolves by bringing real‑world customer insights directly into product and engineering decisions.
  • Run discovery sessions, map customer workflows, and build compelling business cases.
  • Act as the key interface between customers, R&D, and sales across pre‑sales, implementation, and onboarding processes.
  • Deliver presentations, demos, proof‑of‑concepts, and technical training at customer sites.
  • Develop technical materials such as whitepapers and presentations on product use cases.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, technical consulting, or a customer‑facing technical role, ideally in plant or equipment manufacturing.
  • Strong technical understanding with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to diverse audiences, from operators to hatchery managers.
  • Analytical, solution‑oriented mindset with a genuine interest in understanding how things work on the customer side.
  • Confident and persuasive communicator who can present, advise, and build trust with customers.
  • Proactive and persistent working style with an eye for business and market opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to customer sites worldwide.
  • Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.

Bonus

  • You have worked in or with the agriculture industry and understand hatchery operations, incubation processes, or similar production environments firsthand.

Benefits

  • VSOPs (Virtual Stock Options) so you share in the value you help create.
  • 28 vacation days per year, plus December 24th and 31st off.
  • Monthly meal budget for whatever keeps you going, from quick lunches to proper team dinners.
  • Monthly perks budget to spend where it actually matters to you — fitness, mobility, or the occasional “I earned this” purchase.
  • Annual learning budget to invest in your growth, from conferences to deep dives into new domains.
  • Free drinks, coffee, and snacks in the office to keep you focused throughout the day.
