As our Customer Success Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact, driving product adoption and strengthening customer relationships to boost renewals and growth. By understanding customer goals and guiding them through success milestones, you will ensure value realization. Leveraging data and proactive engagement, you'll mitigate churn and uncover expansion opportunities, with success measured by sustained adoption, high renewal rates, and profitable growth.

Partner with our Security, Delivery, and Compute customers

As a Customer Success Manager to high-value customers, you will serve as their trusted advisor collaborating with the Integrated Account Team and across Akamai divisions, solving complex challenges and maximising partnership value. Your relationship-building skills, strategic leadership and initiative will drive customer outcomes, ensuring value realization while encouraging customers to renew and expand their use of Akamai products and services

As a Customer Success Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Being the primary trusted point of contact to key customer stakeholders, building relationships and customer success.
• Being the day to day account owner driving regular internal and external meetings, handling customer escalations, QBRs, and more.
• Leading & orchestrating Value-Based Outcomes and Success Planning to help customers adopt and operationalize Akamai products, achieving their business goals.
• Managing customer health and usage to identify risks, securing renewals and identifying expansion opportunities
• Partnering with the Sales team on renewal activities.
• Managing customers in the DACH Region, in person and virtual.

• Have relatable Customer Success experience.
• Have solid understanding of internet & cloud computing, content delivery & cyber security technologies.
• Demonstrate excellent organisational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Have proven ability for developing long-term, strategic client relationships incl. c-level, with customer facing experience.
• Be performance driven with a growth mindset, always taking the initiative.
• Have exceptional listening, communication and presentation skills with fluency in both German and business English.
