Customs Compliance Senior Manager

As Customs Compliance Senior Manager, you will lead customs compliance across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. You will direct a global team, drive compliance excellence, and optimize duty savings while mitigating risks in international trade. You will shape and oversee strategies for HS codes, origin, FTAs, and licensing, ensuring regulatory alignment. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes and support business objectives. • Lead customs compliance activities for assigned European countries and oversee global programs across continents
• Develop and implement strategies for tariff classification (HS codes), customs valuation, origin determination, and FTA utilization
• Monitor regulatory changes, manage audits and inquiries, ensure compliance with international and local regulations
• Identify and mitigate customs compliance risks, prepare management reporting, drive CAPAs
• Lead and mentor a geographically diverse customs compliance team fostering learning and excellence
• Drive duty optimization and trade facilitation through preferential programs and cross-functional collaboration

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business (advanced degree preferred)
• Professional customs or trade compliance certification (e.g., CCS, AEO, or equivalent)
• 10+ years of customs compliance experience in a multinational, complex global environment
• Strong knowledge of European customs regulations and familiarity with North America and Asia regimes
• Proven experience leading international customs or trade compliance teams
• In-depth knowledge of import/export processes, valuation, tariff classification, rules of origin, and global trade compliance
• Experience with customs reporting systems and ERP platforms such as SAP
