Cyber Defense Specialist (all genders welcome)

Location: Lingen (EMS). We are looking for a Cyber Defense Specialist to join our group-wide security operations team. The role supports ROSEN Group in preventing economic damage by protecting intellectual property, customer value and jobs across our global operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify new cybersecurity threats and implement countermeasures for the entire ROSEN Group.
• Conduct regular penetration tests and implement structural measures to harden our system landscape.
• Support risk dialogue for SaaS applications, suppliers, and responses to security incidents.
• Act as the point of contact for all security aspects throughout the project lifecycle of international IT projects.
• Take on the technical management of IT projects with a focus on security and administer security products in business operations.
• Expand ROSEN’s ISMS with additional guidelines, instructions, and procedures.
• Protect the company's global business operations and report to the group's CISO.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Over 4 years of experience in information security.
• Advanced knowledge of IT security and IT risk management.
• Professional experience operating one or more security products.
• Interest in continuous professional development (e.g., via training courses or conference attendance).
• Good communication skills in English and German (spoken and written).
• True team player; resilient and able to maintain calm under pressure.
