Your responsibilities
- Build subject matter expertise in the Galileo Ground Segment and understand the end-to-end system architecture.
- Complete the training needs analysis and training plan.
- Support incident resolution and anomaly root cause identification.
- Coordinate and collaborate with L2 colleagues from other segments.
- Support continuous service improvement initiatives from a technical point of view.
- Maintain and evolve the maintenance and troubleshooting platform.
- Provide support to Cybersecurity in the form of updates for integrated maintenance and troubleshooting environments.
- Coordinate and monitor cybersecurity tasks for System Maintenance.
- Perform Patch and Vulnerability Management.
- Report and escape security incidents.
- Produce test documentation and test reports as required.
- Contribute to Monthly Service Reports.
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity with at least two years of experience in operations or maintenance of complex ICT environments.
- Strong troubleshooting experience across complex systems.
- Proven experience using Linux and Linux scripting.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare or Docker.
- Advanced level of English (at least C1).
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of automation tools: Ansible, Kubernetes, Selenium.
- Software / web development experience.
- Knowledge of network configuration and design.
- Availability to support on-call service.
- Experience providing guidance and leadership to novice systems engineers.
