Cyber Security Engineer

In this role you support Fortinet’s flagship FortiGate products for partners and customers, combining troubleshooting, testing, and collaboration with R&D to resolve issues. You work in a hybrid setup across Kelsterbach/Prague, engaging with cross-functional teams to ensure excellent customer service. You will deepen product knowledge through labs, training, and round tables while contributing to the security of organizations worldwide. • Provide technical assistance for FortiGate devices to Fortinet-certified partners and customers
• Conduct real-time troubleshooting sessions and remote access calls
• Test and reproduce issues in the laboratory to aid diagnosis
• Recommend corrective actions based on data analysis
• Escalate and report software/hardware issues to R&D
• Engage in ongoing learning through trainings and round tables

• 3–6 years in an IT or technical support role
• Experience in the telecommunications/networking/security industry
• Good knowledge of the OSI model and networking protocols (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
• Proficient in English and Spanish
• Strong communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
