Cyber Security Supervisor

Our client, a leading international technology company operating in a highly regulated industry, is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Coordinator to establish and drive cybersecurity initiatives at one of its German engineering sites.

This is a newly created position offering a unique opportunity to shape cybersecurity strategy, influence secure product development and work closely with engineering teams and senior management.

Your Responsibilities

As Cybersecurity Coordinator , you will play a key role in strengthening the organization's cybersecurity posture by:

• Supporting engineering teams in the development of secure software architectures for embedded systems.
• Driving compliance with cybersecurity regulations, including the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
• Managing software vulnerability processes, including SBOMs and CVE analysis.
• Establishing, implementing and continuously improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with ISO 27001.
• Developing cybersecurity policies, standards and awareness initiatives.
• Planning and conducting internal cybersecurity audits.
• Performing cybersecurity risk assessments for software and hardware projects.
• Coordinating security incident investigations and mitigation activities.
• Advising senior management on cybersecurity strategy and information security topics.

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security or Product Security.
• Strong knowledge of Embedded Linux environments .
• Experience with Linux Kernel architecture.
• Hands-on experience with SBOMs, CVE analysis and vulnerability management.
• Understanding of secure software development principles.
• Experience with ISO 27001 and Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
• Knowledge of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) or similar cybersecurity regulations is highly desirable.
• Basic programming knowledge and the ability to understand software architecture.
• Experience with Yocto is considered an advantage.
• Fluent English; German and/or French are a plus.
