Cybersecurity Engineer – EDR, CNAPP Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support to system administration teams to deploy and maintain EDR and CNAPP agents on-premises and in public cloud environments.
• Manage security coverage across diverse client and server endpoints, including physical hosts, VMs, VDIs, and containers.
• Support multiple operating systems, ensuring seamless protection across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Test, maintain, optimize, and document custom security policies and procedures for EDR and CNAPP tools.
• Define and enforce tailored security policies for containers, hosts, and orchestrators such as Kubernetes.
• Liaise closely with internal infrastructure teams and external vendors to ensure maximum uptime and operational maintenance of security tools.
• Integrate endpoint and cloud-native security tools with broader security platforms to enhance enterprise resilience.
• Monitor tool performance, optimizing configurations to maintain minimal resource impact while preserving cybersecurity coverage.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in cybersecurity and engineering positions.
• At least 2 years of post‑secondary education in ICT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related engineering discipline.
• Hands‑on experience evaluating, deploying, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining EDR and CNAPP solutions.
• Direct technical experience with Sysdig or an equivalent container security platform.
• Experience with virtualization and container technologies, including Kubernetes.
• At least one professional cybersecurity certification and one additional certification in engineering, incident response, architecture, or solutions design.
• Solid experience troubleshooting complex operational incidents through system log analysis and resolving networking issues.
• Fluency in English (B2 level or higher) with strong communication and technical documentation skills.
• Eligibility to hold or undergo the EU Secret security clearance process – EU citizenship is required.
• Eligibility for residency in the European Union.
