Overview

In this role you will be Fortinet’s technical and trusted advisor in pre-sales engagements, shaping security solutions for enterprise customers. You’ll support sales teams, lead workshops, and drive PoC activities while expanding into technical leadership. Collaborating with SEs, CSEs, Solution Architects, and partners, you’ll design tailored security and network architectures and stay current with Fortinet technologies. This is a growth path toward a Senior Systems Engineer, with impact on customers’ digital security and transformation.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Support sales teams in technical pre-sales activities: customer meetings, demos, RfX responses, PoC
Identify client needs from cybersecurity expertise and map to Fortinet solutions
Design security and network architectures tailored to customer requirements
Gradually assume responsibility for technical areas or solutions
Collaborate with senior SEs, CSEs, Solution Architects, and partners on complex opportunities
Lead customer workshops, technical presentations and enablement sessions
Maintain and expand knowledge of Fortinet technologies, integrations and industry trends

Zentrale Anforderungen

3–5+ years of experience in Cyber Security or Network Security
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and security concepts (NGFW, IDS/IPS, encryption)
Interest in customer-facing, pre-sales or consulting roles
Strong communication skills and ability to develop presentations and workshops
Self-motivated with ownership mindset in a dynamic, sales-driven environment
Fluency in German and English with confidence presenting in both
