Data Engineer (m/f/d) – Berlin | Hybrid

Our client is expanding its Data Engineering team and is looking for an experienced Data Engineer who enjoys building modern cloud-based data platforms.

You'll work on scalable data solutions that support analytics, reporting and AI initiatives while collaborating closely with engineering and business teams.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Build and optimise data models and warehouse solutions.
• Improve data quality, reliability and governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Contribute to automation and engineering best practices.
• Support the continuous improvement of the data platform.

Your Profile

• Around 2–4 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience with DBT.
• Knowledge of AWS or another cloud platform.
• Understanding of modern Data Warehouse concepts.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and Docker.
• Knowledge of Spark, Kubernetes or Scala is an advantage.
• German language skills at C-level and fluent English.
