Make data work across locations. You will help build and run a group-wide data architecture that connects information from different systems and turns it into reliable data products for reporting, analytics and AI. This role combines hands-on data engineering with collaboration : you will work with local application experts, central functions and external partners to make data easier to use while respecting the needs of individual sites.

Your impact

• Help design, implement, operate and improve our H&T Group wide data platform and integration layer , including monitoring, incident resolution and performance optimisation.
• Connect data from diverse sources , work with colleagues to improve data quality and develop a shared semantic understanding of key information.
• Establish practical data governance : clear ownership, documentation and standards for reliable data delivery.
• Translate business needs into governed, ready-to-use data products for reporting, analytics and AI.
• Support local sites with onboarding, training and technical guidance ; work with vendors and stakeholders to extend solutions to additional sources and locations.

What you bring

• A degree in computer science, IT systems, data engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable field.
• Professional experience in data engineering, data platform operations or IT integration, and a solid understanding of cloud platforms, data pipelines and monitoring.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality and semantic data models; the ability to turn business requirements into usable data products.
• Confidence working with data from different systems. Experience with industrial data sources such as ERP, MES or machine data would be valuable.
• Clear communication skills for advising stakeholders, documenting solutions and enabling colleagues across locations.
• Business-fluent German and English.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is welcome.
• You work carefully with data, enjoy solving problems hands-on and can bring structure to a changing technical landscape.

Working at H&T

This is a full-time role based in Düsseldorf, with a hybrid working model in line with Group policy. Expect approximately 20–30% travel to H&T sites in Germany, Europe, the US and Asia. Occasional flexibility for calls across time zones is part of the role.
