Data Science Trainee

Description

EPAM Campus offers expert-led training designed to help you excel in the data driven world and master a leading profession. If you wish to build a solid foundation in software engineering and explore statistics and data analysis, this program will help you gain the skills you need.

Program Path & Stages

In the 3 month program (~12 hours of weekly engagement), you will explore self study materials, complete assigned tasks and participate in regular group Q&A sessions to discuss questions with EPAM mentors.

During the program, you will accomplish regression, classification and clustering techniques, along with the basics of deep learning and neural networks. If you showcase impressive results and pass a technical interview successfully, we will then invite you to join one of the proposed mentoring programs (~20 hours of weekly commitment): Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, ML Engineering, Time Series or Recommendation Systems.

While completing the training doesn’t guarantee employment, it will provide you with the practical knowledge and hands on experience needed to confidently enter the profession, whether at our company or on the broader market.

What You Have

• English proficiency level from Upper-Intermediate (B2) and higher
• Proficiency in mathematical analysis, linear algebra, probability theory, and statistics
• Understanding of basic optimization concepts and methods
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Familiarity with Python fundamentals (NumPy and Pandas in particular)
• Fluency in Armenian at C1 (Advanced) level or higher
