Database Performance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform performance analyses and tuning of databases and SQL statements
• Modify databases according to requirements and carry out checks/tests
• Resolve issues related to database usage and malfunctions
• Collaborate with developers to improve applications and implement best practices
• Research and propose new database products, services, and protocols

Requirements

• You have proven professional experience in this field
• Comprehensive understanding of data management (e.g., permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring)
• Analyze SQL execution plans and implement measures to optimize performance
• Proficient in SQL and index optimization
• Experience with stored procedures
• Strong technical understanding
• Teamplayer and comfortable interacting with clients
• Fluent in German, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills
• Good English skills are a plus
