Datacenter Security Operations Manager

As a Datacenter Security Operations Manager within CO+I Physical Security, you lead physical security at Microsoft datacenters and related facilities, collaborating with vendor guards to protect people, assets, and information. You drive security programs, assess risks, and communicate findings to stakeholders, shaping proactive risk mitigation. The role offers global scale, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to advance security leadership and program management. You will operate 24/7 on-call and may travel as needed to support security operations.

• Oversee physical security policies and guard-force resources to meet Microsoft and customer requirements
• Detect threats and escalate to incident response as needed
• Implement security protocols for personnel and asset protection
• Maintain and improve security programs within responsibility area
• Collaborate with datacenter operations and other stakeholders to sustain secure, continuous operations
• Drive efficiency and maturity of the security program, optimize resources and automate where possible
• Triage escalations and keep regional leadership informed during incidents
• Summarize risk analyses for internal stakeholders and leaders
• Support risk identification for datacenter insecurity and disruption
• Contribute to a collaborative, One Team culture

• Multiple years' experience in Security Program or Program Management or related field
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements (Microsoft Cloud Background Check)
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business Risks or related field OR equivalent experience
• Industry security certifications such as CPP, PSP, or other relevant security certification
• Security IC4 level compensation knowledge (salary range provided)
• Willingness to be on-call 24x7x365 and travel as needed
