Department Lead (m/f/d) Industrial IT – Emden or Bremen

To continue growing and tackling the challenges of tomorrow, we are looking for a Department Lead for Industrial IT at our Emden or Bremen location.

Wind Multiplikator – powered by Semco Maritime is the full‑service provider for offshore wind projects, offering services from small campaigns to complete O&M services. Our core competencies are the management and maintenance of offshore wind farms, and the turnkey replacement and repair of major components using our jack‑up vessels.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop assigned specialists, including capacity planning, goal setting, and regular employee reviews.
• Plan, organize, monitor, and troubleshoot the Industrial IT infrastructure, including regular performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with work guidelines, occupational safety, health protection, and productivity within the department.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure safe and quality‑oriented execution of tasks, and analyze and assess defective parts and signs of wear.

Qualifications and Experience

• Engineering degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or computer science, or equivalent vocational training with relevant professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in the relevant field and in leading a team.
• Solid knowledge in the standardization of automation technology, communication protocols (IEC standards), and Industrial IT infrastructure.
• Experience in industrial automation, video technology, safety systems, network technology, and telecommunications.
• Structured, solution‑oriented work style with flexible response to customer and management requirements; strong analytical approach.
• Open and confident communication style, including in English.
