Deployed AI Engineer

As a Deployed AI Engineer, you will integrate state-of-the-art software into complex systems at Helsing, delivering end-to-end capabilities in challenging environments. You will work closely with customer avionics engineers to understand data structures, APIs, and adapters that connect aircraft mission control systems to Helsing’s cloud. You own outcomes from discovery to deployment, continuously evolving software with partners and customers. The role combines hands-on system integration, customer collaboration, and real-world demonstrations to showcase Helsing’s AI capabilities. This is a mission-driven opportunity to contribute to robust, ethical defence technology at scale.

• Discover and formalise customer requirements with product teams
• Identify bugs and ship latest features to users
• Coordinate technology demonstrations with customers, partners, and Helsing engineers
• Integrate diverse data structures, APIs, and networks with Helsing’s cloud infrastructure
• Own end-to-end outcomes from conception to deployment

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or related fields
• Broad understanding of computer systems
• Comfort with scripting (Bash, Python) and software engineering in C++, Java, Rust or similar
• Ability to navigate Linux systems and understand network stacks and databases
• German language proficiency for Germany applications
• Willingness to engage across legacy systems and complex environments
