Design Engineer 2 - Stuttgart, Germany

In this role you will help design and integrate electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into secure, scalable designs and documentation. You will contribute to proposals, execute configuration and commissioning activities, and support field deployments. • Review requirements and SOWs to define project scope and constraints
• Develop/update security system drawings, BOMs, and design docs
• Provide technical input for proposals and project planning
• Provision and configure servers/workstations for security systems
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot security applications and devices with support
• Support configuration checks, test procedures, deployment plans, and commissioning
• Coordinate with installation, deployment, PM, and engineering teams to keep docs aligned
• Support site surveys, field testing, and technical support for deployed systems
• Own deliverables, communicate progress/risks, share lessons learned

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
• Two+ years of relevant experience with physical security systems or related IT solutions
• Practical experience in electronic security design or system integration
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and apply to work
• Ability to travel internationally up to 25%

• AutoCAD or Revit design/modeling
• Experience with security platforms such as Genetec, Lenel, Milestone, HID, Axis, or C•CURE
