As a Design Engineer in electronics, you will craft mechanical integration concepts for boards, connectors, and harnesses to deliver robust, cost-efficient solutions for advanced drone systems. You contribute to scalable designs and validation activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support Helsing's mission in defence technology. You will balance form, fit, and function with manufacturing realities and maintain high documentation standards. Verantwortungsbereiche

Own mechanical design and integration of electronic parts and assemblies for current and future drone products
Create design and integration concepts for boards, connectors and harnesses considering requirements
Produce 3D/2D drawings and ensure form, fit, function using analytical and simulation tools
Apply design and drawing standards with manufacturing considerations
Develop robust, scalable and cost-effective components
Define and perform validation tests for technical maturation
Create comprehensive design documentation per company guidelines and quality standards

Zentrale Anforderungen

Professional experience in mechanical and electrical design of aerospace structures or similar
Hands-on experience with 3D/2D CAD and PLM tools, preferably Solidworks/PDM or Siemens NX/Teamcenter
Strong knowledge of electronic component integration and ECAD/MCAD interfaces
Ability to perform hand calculations and run component validation simulations
Knowledge of ASME/ISO drawing standards and mechanical design/analysis
Fluent English communication, written and verbal
Keen on fast-track developments and flexible work environment
