As a Development Engineer in Hardware Verification, you will help ensure the quality and functionality of IBM's next-generation processors, accelerators, ASICs, and server systems before they are manufactured.
In this role, you will:

A recently completed or soon‑to‑be‑completed Bachelor´s degree or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
Strong software development skills, ideally in Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
Knowledge of computer architecture, digital systems, or hardware design concepts. Enthusiasm for applying AI technologies in engineering and development processes. A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset.
Initial experience with VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, or related technologies is a plus.
Interest in software engineering practices, automation, and DevOps methodologies.
Familiarity with modern development ecosystems such as GitHub, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud-native tools.
Strong communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate in an international environment.
Preferred professional expertise: Advanced German language skills.
