WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking an experiencedBrownfield Development Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in Germany (Frankfurt)

The Brownfield DevelopmentManagerwill be focused onassessing and advancing brownfield redevelopment opportunities across Germanyand supportlocaldevelopment teams in other Europeancountrieson brownfield sites. The role focuses on sourcing and evaluating industrial and commercial sites,supportingduediligenceandpermittingactivities, and supportingtheunderwriting,preparationandtransformation of brownfield locations intologisticsandindustrial developments.

The position works closely with Development, Acquisitions, Construction, Legal, Technical and ESGteams and maintains relationships with municipalities, authorities, consultants and landowners.

SOME OF THE INTERESTING CHALLENGES AHEAD OF YOU

• Support P3 development teams in other Europeancountriesutilisingspecific brownfield experience inidentifyingand underwriting opportunitiesin such markets.
• Coordinateenvironmentalandsupporttechnical andplanningdue diligence.
• Assessdevelopmentfeasibility, risks and remediation requirements.
• Support land acquisitions and investment decision-making.
• Manage planning and permitting activities and coordinate external consultants.
• Engage with municipalities and authorities to secure project approvals.
• Support projects through acquisition, remediation and pre-development phases.
• Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations and ESG standards.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE

• Relevant experience in brownfield redevelopment, real estate development, land acquisition, urban planning or environmental consulting.
• Experience in the German real estate marketand ideally other European markets.
• Understanding of German planning,zoningandpermittingprocesses.
• Brownfield redevelopment and developmentexpertise.
• Project and stakeholder management.
• Commercial and analytical thinking.
• Relationship building and negotiation skills
