Digital Products Quality Engineering Lead (all genders)

In this lead role, you shape the quality strategy for digital products in an Agile setting and guide a team of quality engineers to meet customer and regulatory standards. You drive built-in quality, shift-left practices, and continuous verification across the product lifecycle, coordinating with global teams. You will optimize software development processes, establish quality metrics, and ensure artifacts and controls satisfy regulated environments. The role blends hands-on governance with coaching to accelerate go-to-market delivery while upholding risk-based quality management.

• Define and implement the quality strategy for digital products in Agile environments
• Lead and develop a team of software quality engineers; foster quality mindset
• Champion built-in quality, shift-left, and continuous verification across the lifecycle
• Oversee end-to-end QA/QC activities and apply the four-eyes principle
• Improve software development processes, workflows, templates, and quality indicators
• Ensure traceability, testing evidence, and inspection-ready artifacts meet regulatory expectations
• Strengthen risk-based quality management, test automation, DevOps, and CI/CD practices
• Support audits/inspections and manage defects, changes, and escalations
• Align quality artifacts with customer expectations and applicable ISO/GxP standards
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and effective communication across global teams

• Bachelor or higher degree in a relevant field
• 10+ years in software development/engineering, digital transformation, or software quality management, preferably in life-science/pharmaceutical environments
• Experience managing or supervising teams and building quality engineering capabilities
• Strong knowledge of product lifecycle, Agile, DevOps, Lean, and risk-based quality management; familiarity with Computer Software Assurance is a plus
• Understanding of GAMP 5, ISO standards, GMP, GCP, GLP, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
• Proven track record in software operational controls, change/incident management, audits, and supplier quality
• Experience in design reviews, artifact verification, testing evidence, defect management, and tracing
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and project-planning tools; willing to travel globally
