Director Accounting Operations (m/f/d)

In this senior role, you will lead Accounting Operations across all German entities, ensuring compliant financial reporting under HGB and IFRS. You’ll drive standardization, efficiency, and scalability while partnering with Group Accounting, Group Reporting, and auditors. You’ll shape and develop a high-performing accounting team in a mult-entity environment and contribute to finance transformation and exit readiness. This is a strategic position with direct visibility to senior management in a growth-focused, international company.

• Lead Accounting Operations across all German entities (AP, AR, GL)
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements (HGB / IFRS)
• Drive process standardization, efficiency, and scalability
• Act as senior interface to Group Accounting, Group Reporting, and auditors
• Manage and develop the accounting organization and team

• Proven experience in accounting leadership in complex, multi-entity environments
• Deep knowledge of financial accounting standards (HGB / IFRS)
• Track record of building or transforming accounting organizations
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in German and English
