Director, Commerce Media

You’ll help grow our partnerships with major commerce media platforms, retailers, advertisers, brands and agencies, while bringing PubMatic’s commerce media offering to market in a way that delivers real commercial value.

This is a visible role with real scope. You will work at the centre of strategy, partnership growth and market development, helping customers unlock the value of first‑party data and audience monetisation in a fast‑evolving programmatic landscape.

What You’ll Do

• Build and grow relationships with commerce media companies, retail media organisations, advertisers, brands and agencies
• Identify, qualify and advance new business opportunities across PubMatic’s Commerce Media offering
• Create and execute account strategies that drive customer growth and revenue
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on audience monetisation, first‑party data strategy and commerce media activation
• Partner closely with internal teams across Ad Solutions, Product, Product Marketing and Partner Development
• Share market insight and customer feedback to help influence product development and go‑to‑market plans
• Represent PubMatic externally as a knowledgeable voice in the commerce media space

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in retail media or the wider commerce media ecosystem
• Strong understanding of how first‑party data can be commercialised, ideally within a programmatic environment
• A track record of building strategic partnerships and progressing complex commercial opportunities
• Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and presenting clearly to executive audiences
• A collaborative, solutions‑focused approach and the ability to work effectively across teams
• Commercial curiosity and a strong understanding of key players, trends and opportunities in the commerce media market
• Programmatic knowledge is helpful, but not essential

In line with applicable EU pay transparency legislation, the range below reflects PubMatic’s good‑faith estimate of the total compensation for this role in the relevant market. Final offers are determined using objective, non‑discriminatory criteria such as experience, skills, and location. Most new hires are positioned within the mid‑range, with opportunity to progress over time based on performance and impact.

Total Compensation Range (OTE)

€150,000 - €170,000

Hybrid Working

Employees operate on a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days working remotely.
