Job Description

As a senior individual contributor, the Director will define, lead, and execute a comprehensive, multi‑year growth strategy focused on new customer acquisition, market penetration, and portfolio expansion across the pharma, biotech, and med tech sectors. The role will elevate Honeywell’s value propositions for key life sciences stakeholders, empower sales teams through advanced methodologies, and spearhead initiatives that strengthen Honeywell’s position in manufacturing, quality, and digital transformation domains. With significant exposure to senior leadership and high strategic visibility, this position offers exceptional potential for top performers to advance into broader leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and evolve Life Sciences business development across Europe, identifying high‑impact opportunities and building strategic partnerships to unlock new revenue streams.
  • Drive net‑new customer acquisition and market penetration by developing targeted strategies, value propositions, and structured playbooks for priority accounts.
  • Strengthen sales effectiveness through best‑in‑class enablement frameworks, including tools, training, competitive insights, and disciplined KPI tracking.
  • Enhance Honeywell’s market positioning by aligning messaging and value propositions to regulatory, operational, and innovation drivers across manufacturing, quality, and digital domains.
  • Expand share of wallet by identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities and partnering with Customer Success and Account Management to deepen engagement across the customer lifecycle.
  • Evaluate and execute geographic expansion strategies, assessing market, regulatory, and commercial readiness across key European regions.
  • Lead greenfield and innovation initiatives by validating emerging technologies, conducting market and feasibility assessments, and incubating pilot programs to scale next‑generation concepts.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 8–10 years of experience in business development, growth strategy, or related commercial roles within the Life Sciences sector, with strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of driving measurable business impact.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS and enterprise software models, enterprise sales cycles, and manufacturing/quality operations in regulated Life Sciences environments (GxP, validation, compliance).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at senior and C‑suite levels, with strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional leadership skills.
  • Experience in digital transformation across pharma, biotech, or med‑tech, with familiarity in global regulatory frameworks (FDA, EMA, ISO).
  • Exposure to advanced technologies such as AI/ML, data analytics, cloud platforms, and digital manufacturing systems.
  • Fluency in French and English, with strong communication and executive‑level presentation skills; flexibility to travel across Europe as required.
