In this role, you will be a key strategic partner to our global operations leadership, providing the financial insight, challenge and direction needed to drive performance across our manufacturing and supply chain network.
With oversight across our EMEA manufacturing finance organisation, you will lead financial planning, forecasting and performance management across multiple sites, while strengthening the consistency of financial controls, reporting and FP&A practices. You will turn complex operational and financial data into clear insights that enable senior leaders to make informed decisions around investment, cost, capacity and long-term performance.
Beyond the core planning cycle, you will play an influential role in some of our most important strategic decisions, from manufacturing footprint and make-or-buy assessments to capital investments, logistics optimisation, structural cost reduction and major enterprise initiatives. Working closely with Finance, Operations, Procurement and Executive Leadership, you will help identify where we can operate more effectively and translate those opportunities into measurable financial outcomes.
This is a highly visible leadership position requiring someone who can move confidently between strategy and execution: shaping the financial agenda, establishing meaningful KPIs and governance, challenging performance, and delivering compelling financial storytelling for senior leadership and board-level forums. You will also provide leadership and direction to finance leaders across EMEA, building capability, developing talent and creating a high-performing finance organisation that operates as a true strategic partner to the business.
Your responsibilities
- Perform divisional business analytics along with factory performance and provide variance analysis, key drivers and discuss mitigation measures
- Co-lead the budget process and develops long-term financial forecasts that align with company growth goals
- Provide strategic and financial recommendations, analytics on key projects within Manufacturing and Operations
- Enhance and lead alignment and drive process for EMEA region and oversee consolidation of the financials for the region
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for financial aspects of departmental functions to provide recommendations and maintain efficient operations
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts, tracking key variances, changes, and opportunities in actual results versus forecasts
- Continue to enhance Global LRP partnering with overall CMSO Finance team and budget setting process with a focus on streamlining the process
- Oversight of EMEA CMSO Finance to ensure adherence to global process and requirements
- Significant senior Finance experience within a manufacturing, supply chain or operations-led environment, ideally gained within a large, international organisation
- Strong FP&A expertise, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, financial modelling and performance management
- A solid understanding of manufacturing finance and cost accounting, with the commercial acumen to understand the operational drivers behind financial performance
- A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
- A recognised professional accounting qualification would be advantageous
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and relevant EMEA accounting requirements, alongside experience establishing robust financial controls and governance
- The ability to translate complex financial and operational information into clear insights and recommendations for senior and executive stakeholders
- Experience influencing significant business decisions, such as capital investment, manufacturing footprint, productivity, cost optimisation or make-or-buy strategies
- Proven leadership capability, with experience leading, developing and influencing teams across multiple locations or countries
- Strong business partnering and communication skills, with the confidence to constructively challenge, influence and build credibility across Finance, Operations and Executive Leadership
- Experience with SAP or comparable enterprise financial systems is valuable; exposure to Hyperion/HFM or similar consolidation and planning platforms would be an advantage rather than an essential requirement
