Stellenbeschreibung:

Lead financial management across Care in Action (501(c)(4)), its PAC, and affiliated entities including NDWA Labs.

Manage monthly close, expense and treasury approvals, and intercompany transactions across multiple entities.

Serve as Board Treasurer and the lead point of contact for external auditors.

Coordinate with NDWA's accounting team, the Development department, legal/compliance staff, and senior leadership to ensure the financial health, accuracy, and sustainability of the organization.

Play a leading role in the annual budget process by supporting key staff in developing program budgets.

Requirements

5+ years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in a nonprofit or advocacy organization.

Experience working with 501(c)(4) organizations and/or Political Action Committees (PACs).

Demonstrated ability to prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, budget vs. actual reports, and cash flow projections.

Strong understanding of restricted and unrestricted fund accounting, grant financial reporting, and nonprofit revenue recognition.

Experience managing an audit process and working with external auditors.

Ability to manage multiple entities simultaneously, including intercompany transactions and allocations.

Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to translate complex financial information for non-finance staff and board members.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a distributed team.
