About our client

For our client, an innovative company in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector, we are looking for a Downstream Operations Associate Specialist (m/f/d) . The organisation specialises in the GMP‑compliant production of early‑phase clinical therapies and is known for pushing forward new technologies within biologics manufacturing.

Your responsibilities

• Set up, run and troubleshoot downstream processes in full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
• Apply and uphold GMP principles and EHS standards consistently within your area of responsibility
• Draft and update SOPs and (electronic) master batch records , and review process‑transfer documentation from a technical perspective
• Manage materials using ERP systems (SAP)
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the roll‑out of new technologies, including non‑GMP engineering runs and test activities
• Take part in sampling activities and on‑call duties as required by the production schedule, occasionally including weekend work

What you bring

• A relevant educational background paired with 1–2 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• A solution‑oriented mindset , curiosity to keep learning, and the drive to continuously improve existing processes
• The ability to stay composed and take ownership in a demanding GMP environment
• A flexible, collaborative approach when working with internal and external stakeholders to reach ambitious goals
• Business fluency in English and German
• A driving licence (category B) and access to a car is an advantage, to support on‑call duties
