Editor-in-Chief, Cell Biotech

In this role, you will launch and lead a field-shaping biotechnology journal within Cell Press. You will define aims, scope, and formats, build a global editorial network, and shape the journal's high-impact trajectory. You’ll lead an editorial team, engage international researchers, and collaborate with Cell Press operations, marketing, and press teams to advance the publishing strategy. • Define aims, scope, and formats to create a cohesive, impactful journal
• Attract world-leading submissions through a strong researcher network
• Engage the research community via travel to conferences and institutes
• Recruit and manage in-house editorial staff
• Oversee rigorous submission evaluation to ensure quality and value
• Develop partnerships with Cell Press editorial teams and operations/marketing/press
