EHS Manager (m/f/d) - Fixed-term contract for 12 months

Your Responsibilities

Monitoring and continuously improving fire safety and occupational health & safety standards.

• Conducting fire safety inspections, workplace inspections, and hazard assessments.
• Preparing and maintaining risk assessments for workstations, activities, and hazardous substances.
• Advising managers and employees on fire protection and occupational safety matters.
• Planning and delivering safety training, instructions, and awareness activities.
• Inspecting escape routes, emergency exits, and fire protection equipment.
• Supporting and coordinating evacuation drills and emergency response exercises.
• Organizing and coordinating first aid arrangements and emergency preparedness measures.
• Investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implementing preventive actions.
• Preparing safety reports, statistics, and compliance-related documentation.

Your Qualifications

Completed degree in a technical field or a comparable qualification.

• Recognized certification as a Fire Safety Officer.
• Professional experience in fire protection, occupational safety, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and safety management practices.
• Understanding of applicable fire safety and occupational health & safety regulations.
  • Experience in conducting inspections, audits, and employee training is an advantage.
  • Structured, proactive, and solution‑oriented way of working.
  • Strong communication and advisory skills with the ability to work across functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Good written and spoken English and German skills (C1).
