EHS Manager (m/f/d)

As Site EHS Manager at Tenneco, you will lead and develop the EHS function for the manufacturing site, embedding corporate standards and best practices while driving continuous safety improvements. You will partner with site leadership to minimize operational risks and integrate EHS requirements into daily processes. You will design smart, compliant solutions and coach the EHS team to build a proactive safety culture. This role offers impact across safety, environment and regulatory compliance in a global manufacturing context.

• Lead and develop the EHS organization at the site, coaching specialists and supervisors
• Drive deployment of new EHS policies, programs, and objectives with operational integration
• Integrate EHS into operational processes and implement risk-based measures
• Track and report key EHS metrics to internal and external stakeholders
• Serve as main contact for local stakeholders (e.g., works council) and ensure regulatory compliance
• Coordinate incident investigations and risk mitigation across the site
• Foster ICECo EMEA safety culture through training and behavioral-based programs
• Plan the site EHS budget, vendor contracts, and sustainability initiatives

• 5+ years in EHS with leadership and strategic planning experience
• Experience in automotive industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
• Understanding of risk management and incident investigation methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, IEMA, NEBOSH, CMSE or equivalent; Lean Six Sigma a plus
• Fluency in English; additional languages preferred
