Overview

Join our engineering team as an Electrical Engineer with site-wide energy leadership. You will own electrical infrastructure reliability and safety while steering the site’s Energy Management System under DIN EN ISO 50001. Collaborating with site leadership, you’ll drive energy procurement, efficiency, and sustainability initiatives. This role blends hands-on technical work with strategic energy management to reduce costs and improve operations at a GMP-regulated site.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Oversee design, implementation, and improvement of electrical infrastructure and power distribution at the manufacturing site
Provide high-level technical support to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations
Lead or support electrical upgrade and facility projects, including vendor management and commissioning
Ensure compliance with national safety standards (VDE, DGUV), GxP/GMP, and internal policies
Lead the site Energy Management System (EnMS) implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement
Define KPIs, establish reporting, and conduct management reviews of energy use and savings
Act as the single point of contact for energy suppliers (gas, oil, district heating, electricity)
Plan and conduct internal/external energy audits

Zentrale Anforderungen

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Strong background in industrial electrical engineering or facility power systems
Experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments (pharmaceutical GMP preferred) is advantageous
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
