Electrical Hardware Engineer (m/f/d)

You will own complex electronics development from concept to production, driving PCB redesigns and cross-functional collaboration to deliver reliable hardware for advanced metrology systems. • Lead complex PCB redesigns and electronics development from requirements to production release
• Own technical planning, execution, risk management, and tracking of electronics activities
• Define system/subsystem requirements for electronic assemblies and interfaces
• Develop, review, and approve analog, digital, and mixed-signal designs
• Coordinate schematic development, PCB layout reviews, prototype builds, qualification, and manufacturing readiness
• Collaborate with external design houses, suppliers, and manufacturing partners
• Drive root-cause investigations, verification, validation, and design optimization
• Ensure compliance with safety, EMC, and regulatory requirements
• Create and maintain engineering and manufacturing documentation, specifications, and test procedures
• Collaborate with software, systems, mechanical, manufacturing, and service teams
• Contribute to platform architectures, roadmaps, and continuous product improvements
• Communicate project status effectively within international teams

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 7+ years in electronics development
• Experience leading technical development projects or major work packages
• Strong PCB architecture, schematic design, and electronics integration
• Experience managing suppliers/external partners or contract engineers
• Proven track record bringing complex electronics from concept to manufacturing
• Experience designing electronics for industrial, automation, semiconductor equipment, or high-reliability applications
• Articulate with sound engineering judgment and openness to alternatives
• Strong analytical, structured, solution-oriented approach
• Excellent English communication skills
• Willingness to travel internationally (~20%)
