In this role you will lead the electrical scope of a 180m hyper-scale data centre project in Frankfurt, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance within budget. You’ll coordinate design, procurement, installation, testing and handover, working with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other disciplines. The position sits within a growing European contractor expanding in Germany and offers exposure to flagship infrastructure programmes. You will drive technical leadership and safety on site, shaping outcomes for a high-profile, technology-driven project.

• Manage the full electrical package on a large-scale data centre project
• Coordinate design development, procurement, and installation activities
• Oversee subcontractor performance, quality control, and adherence to specifications
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, client standards, and industry best practice
• Plan and manage testing, inspection, and commissioning of electrical systems
• Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams for seamless integration
• Lead safety culture and drive continuous improvement on site
• Provide leadership and technical direction to electrical engineering and site delivery teams

• 8+ years’ experience in large-scale electrical construction
• At least 3 years in a PM or lead engineer role
• Experience delivering data centre/high-tech/mission-critical projects over 50M
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV distribution systems, generators, UPS, switchgear
• Understanding of EU construction standards, safety regulations, commissioning processes
• Excellent communication, coordination, and client-facing skills
• Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage
