Electrical Project Manager (m/f/d), Senior Authorized Person - Data Centres

As Electrical Project Manager in our Data Centre team, you will lead pre-construction through close-out for hyperscale data center projects in Germany. You will oversee on-site electrical installations, safety compliance, and energy isolation activities, coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders. Your work ensures safe, compliant, and high-quality electrical systems for mission-critical facilities. This is a chance to shape large-scale infrastructure and SDG-aligned energy performance while working with cross-functional teams.

• Plan and coordinate energy isolation activities for construction and commissioning
• Identify, isolate, and control hazardous energy sources
• Oversee electrical installations: HV/MV/LV, substations, switchgear, life safety, energy systems
• Verify contractor compliance with LOTO and Permit-to-Work procedures
• Ensure compliance with program terms, contract terms, and regulations
• Conduct on-site audits and inspections for safety and quality
• Manage electrical subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers on site
• Maintain full-time on-site supervision during construction
• Ensure adherence to building codes and safety protocols
• Provide technical guidance on electrical installations and contract documents
• Act as Subject Matter Expert on energy isolation and assist with incident situations
• Identify gaps, risks, and corrective actions to support continuous improvement

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience delivering large, complex electrical installations and commissioning (MV switching, DC construction)
• Strong technical expertise in data-centre electrical systems (HV/MV/LV, substations, switchgear, life-safety, energy management)
• Experience managing multiple energy sources in data centre or mission-critical environments
• Multi-year experience as Senior Authorised Person responsible for electrical distribution and switching operations
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate with stakeholders
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to audit onsite practices against standards
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and ensure LOTO designs are compliant
