Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical / E&I Supervisor to support site activities on a Waste‑to‑Energy project in Frankfurt. The position focuses on the supervision of electrical and instrumentation installation, testing and commissioning, ensuring full compliance with German regulations and project technical standards. This is a site‑based contract role requiring strong leadership, communication and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise electrical and instrumentation installation, testing and commissioning activities on a WTE project
Coordinate subcontractor teams and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and safety procedures
Monitor daily progress and resolve technical issues to maintain project schedule
Oversee loop checks, functional tests and documentation updates
Ensure adherence to relevant German regulations, internal procedures and industry standards
Provide clear reporting to site management and technical leadership
Support start‑up activities and system handover processes
Collaborate closely with multi‑disciplinary engineering and construction teams

Requirements (Qualifications / Skills & Experience)

Proven experience as an Electrical or E&I Supervisor on industrial, energy, chemical or process facilities
Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation installation, testing and commissioning
Ability to lead subcontractors and coordinate work on a busy construction site
Excellent understanding of work permits, safety rules and construction documentation
Strong communication and reporting skills
German language skills required (professional working level)
English language skills advantageous
Hands‑on experience with loop checks, functional testing and commissioning workflows
Prior experience working on large industrial or energy‑sector construction sites in Germany
Demonstrated ability to work independently while coordinating multiple contractors
Experience within Waste‑to‑Energy, power generation or boiler‑related projects
Knowledge of German VDE standards or equivalent site compliance frameworks
Previous exposure to multinational project teams
