Overview

In this role you support the development and integration of Electronic Warfare Systems for militarized helicopters at Airbus Donauwörth. You collaborate with Design Office, procurement and the test teams to ensure system compatibility and robust verification. You will shape requirements, assess supplier documentation, and contribute to certification activities, enabling safer air operations. This position offers a path to impact the performance of self-protection systems in a high-stakes defense context. You join a multi-national engineering environment focused on cutting-edge EW technologies and integration excellence.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Contribute to requirement specifications with Design Office and procurement
Review supplier documentation to prepare development reviews
Check technical interfaces and ensure compatibility between helicopter emitters and EWS sensors
Assess integration constraints with the integration team and support system-level reviews
Define test requirements for System Integration Rigs and helicopters
Support test team during bench and flight tests
Contribute to certification/qualification documentation

Zentrale Anforderungen

Completed studies in aerospace engineering or electrical engineering or related field; Bachelor with additional qualification or Master
Proven experience in Systems Engineering, ideally with Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS) focus
Strong supplier management and vendor coordination experience
Excellent organizational and teamwork skills with strong communication
Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and grow in the role
English negotiation level; German or French advantageous
Willingness for occasional international travel
