Embedded Linux Developer or Architect - BW area - Up to €120,000 (d / m / f)

Responsibilities

Developer

• Development of product within the Embedded Linux environment
• Development and implementation of software architectures (e.g. x86) and concepts for next-gen products
• Commissioning, Testing (test concepts, test equipment set up), and software module integration

Architect

• Design, development, and maintenance of Embedded Software Architecture according to software requirements
• Technical Leadership responsibilities, supporting the embedded team in implementing architecture
• Architecture and code reviews
• Further analysis of system requirements

Desired Skills and Experience

• Obtained a degree in Computer Science or similar
• 5+ years experience working in an Embedded Linux environment, including experience with BSP, Yocto, Linux Kernel, and Device drivers
• Excellent experience in C language as well as experience in C++17/20
• Experience in architectural design, development, and requirements
• Ideally, experience in the development of radio communication systems, and consequently understanding of waveforms
• Fluency in German & English is mandatory
• Candidates must be clear of any government, defense, or security-related employment restrictions
