Embedded Security Developer – BW area - Up to €100,000 (d / m / f)

Responsibilities

• Continuously expand your expertise by staying informed about emerging security technologies, frameworks, and industry standards while maintaining a strong enthusiasm for cybersecurity topics
• Integrate security principles throughout the entire software development lifecycle, applying modern best practices from the early design phase onward to ensure robust and secure solutions
• Hardening of Linux-based Systems, creation of threat analysis and risk assessments, and security analysis
• Provide technical guidance to internal teams on contemporary security strategies, concepts, and protection mechanisms, leveraging broad cybersecurity knowledge to deliver convincing recommendations

Desired Skills and Experience

• Obtained a degree in Computer Science or similar
• 5+ years experience working in an Embedded Linux environment with a focus on security (secure boot, cryptography, security mechanisms, etc.)
• Excellent experience in C language and ideally experience in C++17/20
• Experience in security methods/protocols such as threat modelling, OWASP, CRA, SAST/DAST, etc..
• Fluency in German & English is mandatory
• Candidates must be clear of any government, defense, or security-related employment restrictions
