Embedded Software Engineer for Aerospace Electronics (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Develop software for embedded systems used in aerospace applications
• Perform and coordinate tasks related to the development of complex software applications with a wide range of functions through to certification
• Develop, integrate, and optimise software components using a real-time operating system
• Design and implement interfaces for communication between different software components and the real-time operating system
• Analyse, design, and implement low-level system software, such as device drivers, kernel modules, and system services
• Conduct software reviews covering requirements analysis and software design
• Evaluate, document, and communicate verification results
• Actively contribute to the development and enhancement of products and support project work within interdisciplinary development teams
• Analyse and evaluate problems and develop effective solutions
• Develop strategies and make decisions that ensure compliance with product development requirements and specifications

Your Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable qualification
• Proven, long-term experience in embedded systems programming and the independent implementation of technical requirements
• Knowledge of various software architecture patterns and their definition and implementation
• Strong knowledge of low-level C programming and microcontroller programming
• English language skills (minimum C1) and German language skills (minimum B1)
• Dual-core and multi-core knowledge is desirable
• Knowledge of software development for aerospace applications according to DO-178 is desirable
• Strong assertiveness
