Embedded Software & Mechatronics Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role you will develop firmware for embedded systems within R&D projects, bridging software and hardware to deliver innovative, production-ready solutions. You will work closely with small cross-functional teams to implement hardware-near software and enable system integration. The work blends PoCs with real-world deployments, offering opportunities to learn new technologies and influence customer products. • Develop and implement firmware for embedded systems across PoCs to production-ready stages
• Work close to hardware using microcontrollers, RTOS, and low-level languages (C, C++, Rust)
• Contribute to hardware-software integration, debugging, and testing
• Collaborate in small, agile engineering teams to drive product innovations
• Grow technical expertise and share knowledge within the team
• Support integration of AI-driven system architectures into physical deployments

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Mechanical Engineering or similar with 1–3 years of firmware experience
• Strong proficiency in C, C++, Rust and hands-on experience with microcontroller platforms (ARM Cortex, STM32, ESP32, RISC-V)
• Solid understanding of low-level programming, memory management, interrupts, and hardware interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB)
• Analytical problem-solving mindset and ability to tackle technical challenges
